New Games!!!!

I got Three, thats right THREE new PSP games this weekend. I don't have time for a full review of each but here is a short rundown.

Me and My Katamari

Same as the console game only its handheld now. Same wacky flair, same great music, different things to roll and different reasons, but same basic game. And thank God for that, this game is crazy fun and addictive.

Capcom Classics Remix

I have this already for PS2 but i got it for the PSP b/c it had several games that the console didn't. Like Strider, Block Block, and Quiz and Dragons (which i can only descibe as D&D meets Trival Pursuit) Great collection of games, i highly recomend it. I can't get enough Final Fight!

Tom Clancey's Splinter Cell Essentials

Great third person Sneak Sneak Spy game. looks really good on the PSP considering its couterparts on the consoles. I got it b/c i needed a game that i could get into as far as the relm of spy games go.

Sony Updates the World

So like i said yesterday Sony has delayed the PS3... not suprising news since they haven't even started production. They did confirm that they were going to start in june or july and will prepare for a world wide release in november, for the holidays (like i predicted) and that wasn't all they had to say.

The super sexy handheld PSP will have a price drop coming up soon, it will drop to $199. Good news for both sony and you. Im pretty sure they are just trying to get people to buy back into Sony to get the stocks back up so that they can make some of the money back they are going to lose on the PS3, or the "Poor-Mans BluRay" dvd player as its being called.

Also for the PSP Sony has said they will update the online ability, release an almost Eyetoy attachment (video chat probably), but the big news is that thru your online link you will be able to download an emulator for PSOne games so that you can then play that library on your PSP. Thats fucking awesome news. I can't wait to be able to play old school FF games, or even the more random releases for the PSOne like BattleArea Toshindin... not really, but very cool news none the less. That will boost the PSP possibly above the Gameboy, and put it up there with in grasp of the Gameboy DS. Keep an eye on that story...

PS3 Update... Kinda

As most everyone should already know, the PS3 is now officially going to be delayed.

Sources say that it won't even go into production until sometime in June or July, so that would probaly make it available at the end of summer for Japan and then not until the chrismakwazaka season for the US, and then as usual the UK gets the shaft (they love it anyway) and won't get theirs until after that.

So this is a good and a bad thing. Bad b/c i fucking don't want to wait anymore for this thing but good b/c now that i have to wait i have a chance to save up my money for this mammoth machine that will probably cost a cool million and not only make me broke but single again.
